It had been a quit day in the office so far, nothing really going on. He had answered the knock at the door with a short reply, never expecting him to walk- or stumble- through his door. He saw a flash of long dark hair behind the door and his eyes flickered in surprise when she did not enter after Li. This meant something was going on, he had no doubt about that. Especially if his headstrong daughter was behind what ever it was.
“You as well.” He replied after a moment. The young man looked scared. being here was probably reason enough alone. That gave Roy a slight feeling of satisfaction. “Ive heard a lot a bout you.” That was only half a lie. Rose had told him a little about him and he had been aware that he sometimes stayed with Rin. Thats was probably what he disliked the most.
“R-Really?” He straightened up. Hearing that only made him wonder what was heard about him. Li cleared his throat, “Well, I’m sure there wasn’t much of any bad news you’d need to worry about.” He managed to crack a small smile, trying to stay confident.
Roys eyes hardened over and turned into a glare. He was going to have fun with this. Why shouldn’t he? “Is there a reason I should worry about bad news Li?” He asked in a steady but somewhat cold voice. Roy did have to give him credit, he was standing his ground. A little playful threatening couldn’t harm him, right?

Li stumbled in through the doors of Mustang’s office, catching himself with his footing so he didn’t fall flat on his face onto the floor. Perhaps his entry would have been a bit more graceful if Rin hadn’t pushed him and made a run for it right after the colonel’s just audible ‘come in’ through the door. She probably knew he was fearing for his life right now. ”..That bitch..” He thought to himself, thinking over how he walked right into this one, no thanks to her. He loved Rin, and didn’t really mean it, but sometimes she really could be a bitch. Not like she didn’t realize it. Or that he would ever say that to her face.
But, he probably could have guessed this is how things would go, what with Rin not really being on what you would call ‘speaking terms’ with her parents. Or at least, her father. Li bowed slightly in front of the colonel, afraid a hand shake would be far too informal, and not all too familiar with the military salute. “Please excuse my entry, sir. But..I have to say it is nice to finally be able to speak with you.” Li stood back upright, scratching the back of his head to try and shake his nerves, leaving his moderately short mop of a haircut, its casual messily neat style. He saved taking a seat until Mustang actually offered him one.
